Reservations are to be made in advance in a digital currency of your choice (please: nothing oddball; something that would be handled by Kraken, Bitstamp, or Coingate...) Only $20 will be needed to place a "bond" and show you have some skin in the game. The reservation is just a token amount to reserve your spot. If you will be accompanied by guests, they will also need to have a reservation paid in advance. Since in most cases these private dining rooms have limited capacity, please avoid crashing an event and paying the full amount at the door; you might find yourself ending up making a trip for nothing.
The phone number of the restaurant will be posted for the event, allowing you to corroborate that no markup is being charged by the organizer. [Keep in mind that the seating cost in a private room at a restaurant might be more than one in a public seating area.] One will also be able to corroborate with the restaurant management that the private dining area has been reserved for the date announced.
For these initial meetups, we will be making an announcement as to their date and time on short notice: 72 hours. Can't make one on such short notice? Don't worry; there will be another next month. Once we should have a quasi-regular following, we can afford more advance notice (probably two weeks...) When the meetup is announced, you will have 12 hours prior to the event to reserve with the aforementioned crypto payment.
